Janice Kellogg is especially striking for its deep crimson flowers that can develop burgundy and purple tones. The blooms are large and densely petalledā€”typically more than 40 petalsā€”and gradually develop a rich, old-fashioned appearance as they open. It was bred by Meilland in France and named for Janice Kellogg, a rose enthusiast associated with Kellogg Garden Products.
