Interesting Note

Pink Summer Snow is a charming Japanese Floribunda known for producing generous clusters of delicate pink blooms. The flowers open in soft pink to blush tones before gradually fading as they mature, creating a beautiful mixture of deeper pink, pale blush and almost creamy-white flowers on the same plant. Its compact growth, few thorns and abundant cluster flowering make it especially attractive for pots and smaller gardens.

Pink Summer Snow is also known in Japan as Spring Pal (スプリングパル) and was introduced in 2004 as a sport of the white Summer Snow rose, retaining the parent rose’s graceful cluster-flowering character while adding its distinctive soft-pink colouring.

Pink Summer Snow shows excellent potential for Singapore’s warm tropical climate due to its strong heat tolerance and repeat-flowering habit. Provide good sunlight, airflow and well-draining soil for best growth. In our warmer conditions, bloom colour and form may vary between flowering flushes, with flowers potentially fading more quickly from pink to soft blush or creamy white.
